Your personal data
If you have ‘opted in’ to receive newsletters from Helena Gore Photography, the following information will be held on Mailchimp:
- Email address
If you have booked a photoshoot we will hold the following information on Dropbox and in our email programme:
- Address, postcode
- Telephone numbers, email address
We will send you an invoice containing our bank details for payment via online banking.
How is data protected?
Helena Gore Photography ensures that your data is protected appropriately at all times.
If you email us from the website we will reply to your email. We will not add you to our Contacts list without your consent. We will offer you a chance to ‘opt-in’ to receive newsletters/information from us in the future.
How do we measure traffic on our website?
We use Google Analytics to assess the performance of our website. Google Analytics records traffic to the website – which means it will record your visit, how long you are on the website for, and which pages you visit. It records which device you use, and its location. All this information is completely anonymous. However it is possible to opt out of Google Analytics recording your visit to any website here.
How long will we hold on to your data?
Bookings data: We will hold on to your data for the duration of the contract between us with regard to your bookings. We will keep a record of the booking for as long as current legislation requires with regard to VAT et cetera.
Newsletter data: If you have subscribed to our newsletter we will hold on to your data (on Mailchimp) for as long as you wish. Each email newsletter we send has the opportunity to unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.
Providing us with your data
We require your data before we can accept a booking from you.
We will never share or pass on your data to any person or organisation without asking your permission first. We would never sell or pass on your data to third parties.
What you can do?
You have the right to ask us for a copy of any information we hold about you.
You have the right to ask us to correct any incorrect data we may hold.
You have the right to ask us to erase any data we hold at any time.
We will need to revise and update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be dated. Please check back to see any changes.
